Gigaset DECT IP is one of the best and the most reliable DECT system available on the market. The PRO range has been created to answer the needs of small and medium companies. Our current offer includes two base station models and three handsets. The Gigaset DECT IP system is supported by Libra, Proxima and Prima PBX systems.

Gigaset N720 DECT IP Multicell system

The Gigaset N720 DECT IP Multicell System consists of two elements – the N720 IP PRO, a base station, and the N720 DM PRO, the DECT Manager. 1 to 20 base stations and 100 handsets can be connected to the DECT Manager and enable true wireless mobility in on-site communication with seamless handover and roaming. It is dedicated for medium sized companies.

N510 IP PRO base station

The N510 IP PRO is the DECT IP base station for smaller businesses. Wireless connectivity enables freedom of movement and multi-tasking convenience. The talking range can also be expanded with up to 6 additional DECT repeaters. The DECT handsets can log to any base station in different locations (roaming).

NEC IP DECT system is an ideal solution for larger companies, but can be used also by smaller companies, where employees move over all the site and want to be always accessible by phone. Wireless DECT phones connect by radio with DECT systems, and the DECT systems connect with IP-PBX via company's LAN network.
 

System requirements

To create a communication system based on IP DECT NEC solution you need:

• Libra PBX Server equipped with VoIP card or using the embedded VoIP or Proxima IP PBX Server using the embedded VoIP or Prima IP PBX using the embedded VoIP
• DECT system with feeder connected through LAN network to Libra PBX Server, Proxima IP PBX Server or Prima IP PBX.
• DECT handsets subscribed to DECT system
• software with PARI number indispensable to launch the whole system (works in Windows XP environment)
   

Key information

• you can subscribe up to 25 DECT handsets to each DECT system
• each DECT system (base station) allows you to make 11 simultaneous calls (with two DECT systems it will be 22 simultaneous calls). The maximum number of simultaneous calls depends on the number of VoIP channels supported by IP PBX or PBX Server.
• you may use up to 255 DECT systems in large sites
• number of DECT handets within the whole system depends on the number of VoIP extensions in IP PBX or PBX Server.
